Stories from a pet doctor

I would like you to introduce you to my household. My clients often ask about my own pets, and I can relate to just about all the stories they have themselves. I have 3 dogs and 4 cats. I used to have a rabbit, a bearded dragon, and 2 fire belly toads.
I started off with a rabbit, who lived in her cage and made a huge mess. I was working as a vet assistant at the time, and a stray cat came to the clinic. One of my friends agreed to adopt him, and off he went to her house. There, he peed on her roommate (who was an ex-boyfriend, so I was not upset!). So he came to my house despite the fact that I never intended on having cats. I always thought I was a dog only person. Henry then came to my house where he proceeded to hide under the bed. The only time he would come out in the beginning was when someone sat on the toilet. He would jump on your lap and want attention. As soon as you stood up, back under the bed he would go. Shortly thereafter I adopted 3 (yes 3) kittens. It's a good thing they were cute. Otherwise they would not have survived to see their first birthday. I always say that babies, kittens, and puppies are all cute so their mothers won't strangle them. Hope, Faith, and Charity are now almost 10 years old and still ornery as ever. Henry has since passed away from cancer.
In vet school, I adopted my first dog, Bella. She is a pitt-mix who will lick your face clean two minutes after she meets you. Everyone loves her and she loves everyone! Once I became a vet, I expanded my household. I now have a Great Dane named Winston, and a Yorkie named Lola. The eight pounder rules the household! I also adopted another cat, Angel. That's my household!

I am not a computer genius. I have had multiple issues with computers, and have often thought about throwing mine out the window. So naturally, I am the one setting up our veterinary practice to go paperless. Despite my frustrations, I am fascinated by electronics, and am enjoying the process! In the meantime, my personal computer crashed. With the new computer, and the paperless at work, I decided to play more with the internet! This entry has nothing to do with veterinary medicine, but it's just to set up, and I do have much more interesting stories than this!
